Who we are

Penceo is a digital design and development company with offices in Budapest, Geneva, Stockholm, Krakow and San Francisco with high-profile international clients.

Overview

We are looking for senior PHP developers for who will be dedicated to work on various PHP based projects for International Sports Federations. These projects include the official website, responsive webapps, conference websites so on. Good OOP knowledge is required, and experience in Symphony, Drupal or Laravel is an added value.

Your responsibilities will include

• Develop backend modules, sync scripts for websites, intranets, mobile apps in PHP
• Maintain our existing solutions (Drupal / Laravel)
• Minimal CSS code in some cases (we have separate SiteBuilder team for longer, major tasks)
• Communicate with the client in some cases on technical topics
• Test the application and communicate with the team if any bugs found, or you have any new feature ideas
• Communicate with the project manager and other team members connected to the project

We are looking for you, if,

• you have a strong interest in websites, new solutions, the digital world
• you have a high level of accuracy and attention to details,
• you have at least 2 years of experience with any PHP based OOP platform (Symphony, Drupal, Laravel)
• you are up-to-date and passionate about getting familiar with new technologies

It’s a plus, if

• you have a college or university degree in IT, business or related field
• you have a certified, active proficiency in English,
• have experience with issue tracking systems, especially JIRA,
• have a passion for sports
• you have experience with frontend technologies as well in order to smooth the work with other team members
• you know what Composer, Drush, Varnish, GIT, Features means and you already used them for your projects
